Research focus group for Highland Park residents

A research team from The Heinz School at CMU will hold a public focus group session at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church to learn more about residents' views and concerns regarding local facilities that provide important services yet are often seen as controversial. The goal of our project is to design a process that will help policy makers make "better" decisions regarding location of residential facilities that provide important services.

The team seeks a diverse group of 10-15 adults (18 years or older) to participate in a 90-minute focus group discussion to share views on community-based corrections initiatives. The results of the study will be presented at a later date to participants. Participants will receive compensation for their time.

For further information and/or to sign up, please contact Michael Johnson at 412-268-4270 or Lacy Vong. Pre-registration is encouraged. No preparation of any kind is necessary for the meeting. Refreshments will be provided.

This research receives no external funding of any kind and is not sponsored by, or responsible to, any non-academic agency, organization or corporation.
