Meet the Candidates

Home

The City of Pittsburgh will hold a special election on February 25, 2003, to replace Jim Ferlo as Council District 7 councilman.

The Highland Park Community Club, the East End Neighborhood Forum, and St. Andrew's Episcopal Church sponsored a "Meet the Candidates" forum on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at 7:00 pm.

Residents listen to the candidates speak in the sanctuary at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.

Dr. Michael Johnson, Director of the Highland Park Community Plan, facilitated the forum.

East End Neighborhood Forum prepared several questions which Dr. Johnson asked each of the candidates in turn.

Enrico's Tazza d'Oro provided refreshments for a reception following the event. Residents were able to speak to the candidates in person.

Good luck to each of the candidates: Reneé Farrow, Nancy Noszka, Mitch Kates (seen here with Bruce Robison, rector of St. Andrew's and HPCC Program chair), Bruce Brantley, Bob Stumpp, and Leonard Bodack, Jr.
