The City of Pittsburgh held a special election to replace Jim Ferlo.

The unoffical results are in, and the winner is Len Bodack Jr. Congratulations, Len!

The City of Pittsburgh held a special election on February 25, 2003, to replace Jim Ferlo as Council District 7 councilman. As of January 7, Jim is the senator for the 38th District in Pennsylvania.

Council District 7 includes all or part of the neighborhoods Bloomfield, Friendship, Garfield, Highland Park, Lawrenceville, Morningside, Polish Hill, Stanton Heights, and East Liberty.

Lawrenceville VOTES held a Candidates' Forum on January 15 to provide information about the election and encourage voters in District 7 to vote.

The Highland Park Community Club and the East End Neighborhood Forum held a "Meet the Candidates" forum at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at 7:00 pm
